Airtel Internet TV has launched an update with Amazon Prime app pre-installed but as per latest feedback from our viewer Digital Indian, it is crashing a lot. So, this video tutorial should help you to install Amazon Prime video app (Aptoide version) on your smart TV/box. This is a guide to run Amazon Prime Video app on your Airtel Internet TV box or smart TV or smart TV box. First and foremost, your smart setup should be based on Android 6.0 or higher. Here are the steps in short to setup Amazon Prime Video app: 1. Download Aptoide TV app by searching on Google on your PC or laptop or download directly from this link: http://m.aptoide.com/installer-aptoide-tv?lang=en 2. Copy the Aptoide TV apk to a pen drive. 3. Put the pen drive in the USB slot of your Airtel Internet TV/smart TV/box. 4. Open the Google Play Store on Airtel Internet TV. 5. Search for app called ES File Explorer. (This step is not required for other smart TV/box if you already have a file manager) 6. Install the ES File Explorer. 7. Go to settings--security--Unknown Sources and switch it to "ON" to allow installation of 3rd party apps. 8. Now, run ES File Explorer app and locate your pen drive. 9. Run the downloaded apk and install Aptoide TV app. 10. Open Aptoide TV app and search for Amazon Prime video. 11. Install the Amazon Video app with 3 stars as shown in the video. Other Amazon Video apps will not work on Airtel Internet TV. However, they may or may not work on other smart TV/box. 12. Run Amazon Video app and sign in with your Amazon credentials.
