'It is reported that the sequel of Nayak (the 2011 film) will soon have a sequel. The story of Nayak, which had Anil Kapoor and Rani Mukherjee in the lead is said to be now continued in the sequel. The cast for the sequel, we hear, has not been finalised yet but the script for the same is written by K.V. Vijendra Prasad. Prasad is known for his work in Bahubali and Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
