'Dangal is the true story of an Indian father who trains his two daughters to win a Gold medal for India in wrestling. The movie captures the struggles of the girls and their family who are ridiculed as women for their athletic ambitions. Dangal is based on the story of Mahavir Sing Phogat (played by Aamir Khan) and his two daughters Geet Phogat and Babita Kumari. The two girls each play themselves in this film.
