'Plot Government-sponsored scientist David Banner is creating a project for the creation of modified animal DNA sequences of various animal invulnerable soldiers capable of regeneration. Due to the ban of General Thaddeus Ross to perform experiments on people, he introduces the drug to himself. After the birth of his son, Bruce, he discovers that he could inherit his changed DNA. Bruce himself does not remember anything about the past, he was raised in another family under the name Krenzler. Over the years, he, along with his ex-girlfriend Betty Ross, is engaged in genetics at the Berkeley Institute, working on an unknown project. They hope to achieve instant cell regeneration by irradiating with low gamma rays in order to activate nanomedics introduced before. Major Ross Glenn Talbot, a contractor for General Ross, is also interested in the project, also trying to start a relationship with Betty. During one of the experiments, a technical malfunction occurs, and Bruce rescues his colleague by taking on exposure to gamma rays. Betty visits Bruce, who is feeling fine, at the hospital, although according to all forecasts he was supposed to die. Later, a new lab cleaner arrives (who turns out to be David Banner), who calls himself his biological father and offers help and protection, but is refused. Soon, under the influence of extreme stress, Bruce turns into a Hulk and destroys the laboratory, although then he does not remember anything about what happened. General Ross suspects that Bruce is collaborating with his father, but later gets the opportunity to get acquainted with his repressed memories and orders to keep the scientist under house arrest. In a telephone conversation with his father, Bruce learns that David plans to kill Betty who came to him with the help of his own dogs, who managed to introduce an analogue of his son\'s blood. At this time, Talbot arrives at Banner, whose actions awaken the Hulk. The Hulk manages to kill three dogs, in the morning he is arrested by the military. At a secret military base in the desert, Bruce is under the supervision of Talbot, who wants to use the Hulk\'s abilities as a weapon. At the Berkeley Institute, David Banner recreates an unsuccessful experiment, but gains the ability to absorb any materials and energy. After that, he surrenders to the military, telling Betty his story: when Bruce was four years old, he decided to kill his son, who was already different from the others, but his wife Edith saved the child at the cost of her life, and David himself was arrested for thirty years. At this time, Talbot awakens the Hulk, who breaks free and arrives in San Francisco. Only with the help of General Ross\'s daughter can Bruce be reassured and arrested. The general understands that the Hulk is impossible to control and must be destroyed. David gets the opportunity to meet with his son at a military base as his only relative. Unsuccessfully trying to get Bruce out of himself with ridicule and insults, he bites the cable. Transformed into electric lightning, he takes his son from the base to the lake, where, changing his appearance (stone, water), he seeks to absorb his strength. Bruce decides to end the battle and agrees to give his father all his strength, which he cannot absorb and dies from the explosion of a nuclear missile launched from a fighter.
