This means that major movie studios are scrambling to change their release dates. Even Disney isn’t immune to these changes and has officially changed the release date and halted production on most of its upcoming projects. “Mulan” was about to release in theatres and is being pushed back. “Black Widow” was also set to come out soon but is the latest film to get an official delay. Movies and shows that were in the middle of filming like “Home Alone” and “Falcon and the WInter Soldier” have also sent their cast and crew back home for the foreseeable future. Even projects that were nearing completion, like Emma Stone’s “Cruella”, have experienced pushbacks.
