'Movie: Phobia Movie Review Director: Pavan Kripalani Star Cast: Radhika Apte, Satyadeep Mishra, Ankur Vikal, Yashaswani Dayama Rating: 3/5 Stars (Three stars) In this week’s Phobia movie review bollywoodpataka editor Denzil is a confused man, or is he fearful of both. Denzil goes on to explain why he is confused. Back to the film Radhika Apte the protagonist of the film has agoraphobia a fear of stepping out of her home after she is scarred by an assault by a taxi driver. So she confines herself to her home but clanging pipes and strange sounds at home torment her at home as well. This here is a psychological thriller with a spooky horror film twist and that confusing Denzil cos this is not an out and out horror film and it’s not and out and out blood curdling horror film as well and there is a thin blood red line between the two. Denzil further explains in the Phobia review that this film has all the ingredients of a horror flick and it been well put together by director Pavan Kripalani, who made his debut with the fright fest Ragini MMS in 2011. He made use of tight frames good sound very apt lighting slick editing and a superb act by the mostly lone protagonist of the film Radhika to tell a gripping on the edge of your seat story. Over the years Radhika Apte is building up a great acting portfolio. In this psychological thriller Phobia she puts in a riveting performance which unlike most actress before her is tight and controlled and not an over the top scream fests.
